From a very young age, art has been a part of who I am. In addition to being a creative outlet, my artistic ability has also been a great asset to me throughout my educational and professional careers. My background is in traditional hand drawing, but I have also developed solid computer software skills with programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Paint, and Publisher.

STUDENT PROJECT
While at FIDM, I used my artistic abilities to sketch out my ideas for window, and in-store displays. This project was entitled "Masters of Linen", and was a Gothic approach to a table linen in-store display.
STUDENT PROJECT
I worked on this project at FIDM. The objective was to sketch out a "Tiffany" window display, then use whatever elements we could find in class to physically install the design into a window display. This display depicts an expensive gold necklace inside the surprise package of a Cracker Jack box.

This is a piece I named "Bounce". It is an abstract impression of a ball bouncing off a tile floor. I used various techniques to create this drawing with color pencils and markers.

This is a Portuguese man-of-war I drew with Prismacolor markers. I used different types of blending, shading, techniques to present the illusion of depth and transparency.

This is an abstract representation of a butterfly flying over a flower. I used color pencil and applied varying amount of pressure to for shading and style. This type of shading is essentially me signature style of abstract art.
